Bilateral exchange to ESG

The ESG UQAM academic year is divided into three terms: two regular semesters (Fall and Winter) and one intensive semester (Summer). Exchange students are admitted only during the two regular trimesters (Fall and Winter) and no exchanges are authorized during the summer term. This means that an exchange student can decide to study at ESG UQAM for:

  • Whole academic year (Fall and Winter terms) (program code : 0474-0476-9967)
  • Fall term only (program code : 0473-0475-9966)
  • Winter term only (code de programme : 0473-0475-9966)

To ensure optimal integration of your students at ESG:

  • Participation in orientation days is mandatory and, therefore, the student’s arrival date in Montréal must precede the orientation day (arrival one week before the start of classes);
  • It is strongly recommended that students attend classes from the start of the trimester; a student who misses the first two sessions of a course, usually scheduled during the first two weeks of the term, may be refused registration in the course;
  • Students must ensure that their departure date from Montreal follows the date of their last exam, as credit will not be granted for a final examination written abroad.
